Student's Club

The students of Children’s Liberty have come to the conclusion to form a welfare committee for the welfare and the betterment of the students of the school. After a long discussion among our friends and guide of the teachers, we have committed to run the programme for years. We the members of committee with the acceptance of our all the school friends have made our guide as mentioned below. The guide can also be changed along with the changes of time if the majority of the members of the committee prove that it is necessary. If aroused any dispute regarding to any topics (responsibilities, fund, its use etc) the meeting in which the majority of the committee members’ decision will be final. No members or the students should object to the decision made by the majority of the committee members.

COMMITTEE FORMATION
»    At present, there will be 13 members in the committee.
»    The committee members will be selected only from class 6 to 10 at present.
»    There will be a Chairman, a vice-Chairman, a Secretary, a Treasurer and 9 members in the committee.
»    The Treasurer will always be a female.
»    The working period of a committee will be minimum 1 year in general (but the same committee members or partly change can be done in concernment of the students)
»    All the committee members as well as the general members should completely be responsible to the Chairman except in the exceptional case. The chairman can change the responsibilities of the members in the committee for the effectiveness of the committee. The chairman can call the immediate meeting if necessary.
»    The meeting of the committee will be held once in a months after school with proper information by 2 days.
»    The Chairman as the head of the committee , should be all-round responsible of the committee.
»    No meeting or decision will be accepted in the absence or information of the Chairman.
»    The Principal of Children’s Liberty E. B. School is the patron of the committee. His guide and suggestion will be accepted with no objection.
»    All the teachers of CLEBS are the advisors. Every suggestion for the betterment of the welfare fund will be accepted.
»    Chairman can use up to Rs.200 without any meeting by informing all the committee members minute should be made and signed by every member for every works.
»    Minutes of every important decision on should be kept by secretary of the fund with the signature of Club’s Chairman.
&»    Club should present the financial report about its income, expenses and saving in each 3/3 months and that should be published on notice board. The financial report should be prepared by Treasurer with help of Secretary and it should be verified by Club’s Chairman , club’s coordinator and Principal.
»     Club will have a class Ten student as a Chairman but that chairman will work as the real head of the club only till the beginning of send up exam. With the starting of send up exam of class ten, Chairman will work only as the nominal head and the real head of the club will be Vice Chairman. In this condition all the power and authority of chairman will be exercised by Vice Chairman. For this procedure, Vice Chairman will be nominated from class nine.
»     Every year in the beginning of session, there will be the nomination of new committee member. The nomination or selection procedure of the committee members will be alone by the teacher.
»     Club will have a class Ten students as a Chairman but that chairman will work as the real head of the club only till the beginning of send up exam. This should be done every day in order to avoid the pressure of revision immediately before the exams. It is practically impossible to revise all the lessons in class before every round examination due to time constraints and the volume of the syllabus.

THE CLUB

»    Member can repeatedly be the club member if he/she is selected by the coordinator. »    The committee will have the procedure to form a sub-committee if necessary. In this case sub-committee will work under the main committee.


FUND COLLECTION

The main sources of fund will be ourselves. The fund will be collected from the following sources.

$    School- Children’s Liberty E. B. School will provide Rs. 300 every month.
$    Each committee member will collect Rs. 15 every month.
$    Teaching Staff- Every teacher will provide Rs. 25 every month.
$    Each student from class 5 to 10 will collect Rs. 5 every month.
$    Talking Nepali- The student from class 3 and above pay Rs. 2 for talking Nepali at a time.
$    Guru Puja- Saved amount from Guru Puja or other programme will be deposited in fund.
$    T-shirt, cap etc. printing school’s name and selling among the students or guardians in some functions or programmes.
$    From other sources ( If generated or found)……………………. Lottery draw on occasion.

USE OF FUND
Basically the fund will be used on the welfare of the students for their betterment.
» Monthly prize- The best student on the following headings will be awarded prizes every month.
           1.    Best English:-     1 student – up to Rs. 50
           2.    Co-Operation:- 1 student – up to Rs. 50
           3.    Best monitor:- 1 student – up to Rs. 50
           4.    Quiz:-     1 student – up to Rs. 50
           5.    Neatness:-     1 student – up to Rs. 50
           6.    Best captain:-     1 student – up to Rs. 50


» Help of the guardians of school members: If a member or his guardian (student’s of Children’s Liberty is admitted in hospital and guardian has a big financial problem) The committee will provide Rs 1000 (Only one time to one guardian of member)
» Help to the needy ones- If any body is really in the death bed requests for help, the committee will provide Rs. 500 in the duration of six months (only two times in a year)
» For social work- Maximum Rs 500 will be spent as donation for the social work within this locality (once a year)
» Fare well-Students of class ten after SLC, teachers leaving school for better career or for any guest. The amount will be fixed according to the nature of farewell.
» Best student of the year- Up to Rs. 300 will be spent (once in a year) for the best student. (the best student will be selected by the teachers staff)
» Students out programme – Rs 500 in the period of 3 months (only 4 times in a year) will be spent if the students of

CLEBS go out for any competition.
» If the fund is sufficient, will be spent for the improvement of music, library, sports etc
Note:
1.    The fund will be deposited at the account section of CLEBS at present.
2.    The committee (after all the procedure) has to inform before 2 days at the account for withdrawing the amount.
3.    Any teacher can use fund money (maxim Rs 2000 for one month paying Rs.200 for Rs. 2000 as additional if there is money is fund.
4.     The above mentioned expenses will be made only by the decision of the majority of the committee and approval of the patron.

FOR COMMITTEE MEMBERS:
1.    The committee members will be nominated from class six and above.
2.    All the committee members have to follow the rules and regulations of the club.
3.    All the committee members will have the working period of one year. They can repeatedly be the committee member if they are nominated.
4.    No any committee members will work or talk against the club or any member of club. If any club member has dissatisfaction on the club or club member , he/she will directly talk to the chairman.
5.    If any member will be found working or talking against the club or club member and not obeying the rules and regulations of the club , he/she will be expelled from the post.
6.    If the club finds any of its member ineffective and passive in working , he/she will be expelled from the post if majority of the club member vote against him/her.
7.    Here the word members includes all the committee members including Chairman Vice-Chairman, Secretary,

Treasurer and seven other members.

Me as a member of the student’s club committee will follow all the rules and regulations written above and if I fail to do so I will be ready for the action taken against me by the committee.
